1. Dry Dock Water Pump
Root Cause; Severe corrosion / erosion in volute, backplate, and other wear parts as well as irreparable impeller with broken blade.
The pump performed inefficiently, and increased downtime and maintenance.
Sand Blasting / thorough surface preparation.
After sand blasting a suitable ceramic coating material was selected with following features:
100% solids content
Excellent adhesion properties
Better Cavitation resistance
Excellent abrasion resistance
Which results in:
- Extending pump lifetime
- Increasing the pump efficiency
2. Storage Tanks
As tank level drops, 98% H2SO4 in head space drops to <93%. Carbon steel is no longer resistant to corrosion at this level.

3. Thermal Insulation
Mixing bowls in a food manufacturing site were corroding due to the condensation build on the surface.
Thermal Barrier XF was applied to the surface of the bowl.
It Reduces or eradicates condensation build up on metallic surfaces.
Creates a seamless corrosion protection layer around pipes and equipment.
Cured coating is easy to inspect for engineers and maintenance teams.

4. Pipeline

5. Heat exchangers are corroded as they at least are subjected to three different temperatures.
Severe bi-metallic corrosion due to dissimilar metallurgy of the tubes and the tube sheet, exacerbated by chemically corrosive cooling water.
